Legend Capital’s Investment in Anycolor Ranked 1st in the "Nikkei" Annual Highest Return Venture Capital List

Legend Capital's investment in Anycolor recently ranked 1st in the 2022 Highest Return Venture Capital List by the well-known Japanese media outlet "Nikkei Sangyo Shimbun". The List is based on the investment returns of 91 companies listed in Japan in 2022 and has attracted extensive attention from the capital market with its credibility.

Established in May 2017, Anycolor is a company focusing on the operation of virtual YouTubers (VTubers), and it is the only company with a market value of over 100 billion yen among the 91 companies listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2022. Legend Capital led Anycolor’s Series B financing round in April 2020 and continued to support the company’s development by providing value-added services in business resource expansion and business models.

As part of Anycolor’s global expansion strategy, Legend Capital helped establish Anycolor’s joint venture with one of its portfolio companies Bilibili, a leading video and contents sharing platform in China.

Moreover, Legend Capital previously invested in HYBE, the management agency of K-pop sensation BTS, and C Channel, the leading online video-based digital fashion media platform. As an active investor in media and entertainment, Legend Capital introduced and shared the growth history and monetization strategies of HYBE and C Channel while supporting potential cooperation efforts to further Anycolor’s development.
